The Israeli Defense Army (Tsakhal) resumed a military operation in the Gaza Sector, causing intense blows to the Hamas group facilities. According to Gaza doctors, at least 30 people were killed as a result of air strikes. It became known on Tuesday night, March 18, according to Reuters.
At least three buildings have been affected in Gaza, Rafah and Han-Yunis. The Office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhah published a statement stating that the military was given an indication of "taking decisive measures against Hamas terrorist organization".
"It happened after repeated refusal of Hamas to release our hostages, as well as to reject all the proposals received from the US President's envoy Steve Witcoff and intermediaries," the statement said.
Netanyhah emphasized that the strikes are aimed at achieving the specific military goals of Israel: the elimination of Hamas's military and management potential and the return of hostages.
"From now on, Israel will act against Hamas with growing military force," the Prime Minister added.
