Israel struck a rocket strike at the school in the center of the Gaza Sector, where the refugees were. The Israeli side states that the school housed Hamas.
Media gases reported that the blow was struck at the UN school where the refugees were in the fan.
According to a local hospital, at least 39 people were killed as a result of the attack, dozens of another were injured. The number of victims can grow as the victims are still delivered to the hospital.
The Israeli military confirmed that they had attacked the school, claiming that there was a complex of Hamas fighters. The tahal noted that measures were taken to minimize danger to civilians.
At least three rockets were hit at the school. It is reported that about 20,000 refugees could be in the school.
The day before, Israel announced a new military campaign against Hamas in the center of Gaza, before negotiating between mediators with the US and Qatar on the ceasefire agreement.
