Israel launched a missile attack on Hezbollah weapons depots in Syria

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a missile attack on the weapons depots of the radical Shiite movement "Hezbollah", located in the Syrian city of Al-Qusair, near the border with Lebanon. According to the Israeli military, the weapons were illegally transported from Lebanon to Syria, and the location of the warehouses was established thanks to accurate intelligence.

During the attack, the Israeli military also destroyed an enemy drone in the area. According to reports, the IDF struck an industrial zone and several residential buildings in the city of Qusayr in the province of Homs. Hezbollah's arm, which is responsible for storing weapons, recently expanded its operations into Syria, with the aim of building a strategic stockpile of weapons. However, this plan failed due to the operational actions of the Israeli army.

Israel continues to implement the strategy of destroying Hezbollah and Hamas, carrying out numerous attacks on key targets of terrorist groups. Thanks to the targeted operation, it was possible to eliminate several leaders of Hezbollah, including Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed during an attack on the headquarters of the group in Beirut. Among the other eliminated leaders are the high-ranking official Nabil Kauka and the deputy commander of the elite unit of Hezbollah, Mustafa Ahmad Shahadi.

Recently, the IDF also discovered modern Russian weapons at Hezbollah bases in southern Lebanon. Militants created hiding places and tunnels where these weapons were stored. It is also known that on October 13, "Hezbollah" attacked an Israeli base near the city of Binyamin with the help of "Mirsad" drones, as a result of which four soldiers were killed.
