The military forces of Israel (Tsakhal) reported the intention to renew military operations in the Gaza sector in order to fully destroy Hamas after the end of the current truce. This was reported by the Head of the General Staff of the Israeli Defense Army, the Halewa.
During his speech before the media, Halew noted that after the successful release of the first group of hostages, which were children and women, troops would return to active hostilities. He expressed confidence in the determination of the army to continue the release of hostages and finally cease the existence of Hamas.
Defense Minister Joava Gallant added that the Israeli troops will not leave the Gaza sector until all hostages were returned to Israel. Currently, Israel has confirmed that 13 Israeli hostages have successfully crossed the country.
The truce, which came into force at 7am on November 24, was concluded through Qatar. Although it should last 4 days, the Israel's army has confirmed its intention to return to military operations after completing hostage release tasks.
