Kamala Harris avoided questions about Ukraine's accession to NATO

US Vice President Kamala Harris did not give a clear answer to the question of her attitude to the possible accession of Ukraine to NATO. This statement was made during her recent speech, Bloomberg reports.

In an interview with CBS News, a presidential candidate from Democrats said that this issue is "the problems we will consider if and when it comes to this point."

"We are now supporting Ukraine's ability to protect ourselves from unprovable aggression of Russia," she said.

After the interview, her assistant anonymously stated that Harris believes that the future of Ukraine is in NATO. But the Presidential candidate did not voice it.

In the same interview, Harris said she would not discuss the termination of the war in Ukraine with Putin without the participation of Kiev.

By the way, today, the new NATO Secretary General Rutte also refused to answer the question of whether Ukraine will be able to join the Alliance without Russia -captured territories.
