Former US President Donald Trump has an advantage over Kamala Harris Vice president on war resolution in Ukraine. This is evidenced by the results of the survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal from September 28 to October 8. According to the survey, Trump has the support of 50% of the voters who are still hesitant, while Harris supports 39% in the question of who will better cope with the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Trump's advantage
The survey also showed that Trump has an even greater advantage in the management of another conflict - the war between Israel and Hamas. It is supported by 48% of voters, while Harris received only 33% of the vote on this issue. The publication notes that foreign policy is not a primary topic for most US voters, but the future president will inherit two key international conflicts that have polarized society.
Despite foreign policy challenges, the economy remains a major priority for voters. The survey showed that the economic issues are most influenced by the candidate's choice, and the second place is immigration and border security.
Kamala Harris is ahead of Trump in common ratings
WSJ survey Economist/Youugov study showed that Kamala Harris has an advantage over Donald Trump in general support ratings. 49% of voters are ready to vote for it, while Trump supports 45%. Vice president also ahead of Trump among registered voters by 3 percentages.
Harris is supported by 95% of Democrats, 38% of independent voters and 6% of republicans. Trump also supports 90% of Republicans, 40% of independent and 2% of democrats. The survey was conducted on October 6-7 and covered 1604 respondents.
