German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced six priority policy areas

Noting the importance of this step, he emphasized the urgency of reviewing asylum procedures within six months.
  3. Speeding up planning of infrastructure projects: Chancellor welcomes German pact, which includes 100 individual measures to speed up infrastructure development. Highlighted areas include the use of data, digitization, pharmaceutical research and the hydrogen economy.
  4. Reduction of electricity tax for companies: In the framework of European legislation, the federal government proposes to reduce the political costs associated with the supply of electricity for manufacturing companies, with the aim of reducing the electricity tax to a minimum.
  5. Solidarity with Israel and Ukraine: On the foreign policy front, the chancellor emphasized Israel's right to protect and support Ukraine. He assured of long-term support for Ukraine, including conditions for joining the EU, and announced his intention to hold a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine in Germany next year.

Noting these directions, the chancellor expressed confidence that these measures will contribute to the effective management of the country and the solution of current challenges.
