Kareem Khan called for an urgent review of requests for the arrest of Netanyahu and others

The Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICS) Karim Khan urged judges to "urgently" make a decision on his request to issue warrants for the arrest of the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyaha and other persons who may be involved in crimes committed in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

About it reports The Associated Press.

Khan stated that the International Criminal Court in the Hague has a jurisdiction to consider crimes committed in this conflict. He stressed that the decision to arrest with arrest is an important step in ensuring justice and preventing further violation of human rights.

Khan's request applies not only to the Prime Minister of Netanyah, but also by other high-ranking officials and persons who, in his opinion, may be responsible for violations of international humanitarian law. This decision can significantly influence international policy and further development of conflict.

The ISS, as an international body, aims to justify persons for the most serious crimes, such as war crimes, humanity crimes and genocide. Khan emphasized the need for urgent consideration of this issue in order to provide rapid and effective justice.

At the same time, the reaction from Israel and the international community to this request has not yet been officially voiced. Judges may have significant political and legal consequences for all conflict participants.
