Qatar condemned Israel's policy on Gaza

Qataru Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Tani expressed his disappointment with the actions of Israel about the situation in the Gaza sector, emphasizing that the continuation of Israeli aircraft at the same time as diplomatic efforts cast into question the sincerity of the intentions to cease fire. He stated this in an interview with CNN.

"Sending a delegation to talk and simultaneous continuation of bombardment is a bad signal," said the head of the government of Qatar. According to him, Israel demonstrates the unwillingness to make real progress in the peaceful settlement of the conflict with Hamas.

Qatar is one of the main international mediators trying to promote the de -escalation of the conflict and the return of hostages. However, as Al Tani emphasized, the hopes of a breakthrough in the negotiations are melting against Israel's actions.

Qatar positively evaluated the release of the hostage with dual citizenship-the Israeli-American Edan Alexander-and called it a potential turning point in the negotiation process. However, according to Al Tani, the continuation of violence offsets this hope.

"We have expected that this release would be an incentive for both parties to compromise. But unfortunately, Israel's reaction shows the opposite," the Prime Minister said.

Negotiations are still in parallel with US President Donald Trump's visit to Qatar. The Israeli delegation arrived in the capital for consultations, however, according to Al Tani, the chances of a breakthrough are currently ghostly.

"If the parties do not demonstrate readiness for meaningful dialogue, what progress can be made? After all, it all depends not on the intermediaries, but on the participants of the conflict themselves," the Qatar leader summarized.

Qatar called Israel to restraint and constructive approach, emphasizing that any diplomacy loses meaning without termination of violence.
