Kai Kallas was elected leader of the Reform Party in Estonia at the congress in Tallinn

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas was re-elected as the head of the ruling Reform Party at a convention held on November 18 at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater in Tallinn.

At the congress, where the chairman and members of the board of the party were elected, 35 people competed for a place in the board. However, only Kai Kallas was nominated for the position of party leader.

Kai Kallas scored 636 votes out of 931 participants in the elections for the head of the party. It is known that 295 people left their ballots blank. In the previous elections in 2018, Kallas received 1,067 votes, and in 2020 - 984.

Elections were held by electronic voting during the period from November 9 to 16. The Reform Party has 17 members on its board, including the party chairman.
