Kia has announced a new compact City Crossover Syros, which will be one of the most affordable brand models. The official presentation will take place on December 19, 2024, and sales will start in early 2025.
Kia Syros is a compact model of about 4.2 meters long, focused on urban conditions. The base price starts from $ 12,000, which makes the crossover an attractive choice in the budget segment. To reduce costs, car production will be concentrated in India. The car has a modern design with high hood, smooth body lines, large vertical headlights and sliding door handles. Kia Syros premium versions will receive a 10.25-inch multimedia system, panoramic roof, BOSE acoustics, a set of security systems, as well as electricity and ventilation.
At the start of Kia Syros sales will be available with the following engines: 1.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 120 hp. 1.5-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 115 hp. Both options will be equipped with a mechanical, automatic or robotic gearbox. In the future, the lineup will fill the electrical version of Syros, which will emphasize the KIA's desire for the development of "green" technologies.
