The South Korea government has reported sabotage acts by North Korea, which included the blowing of roads that connect two countries. This event occurred against the backdrop of increasing tension in the region and exacerbation of relations between Seoul and Pyongyang.

"North Korea has blown up the Kiongi and Tonhe roads north of the military demarcation line around noon," the agency quoted the General Staff of South Korea.
