At the UN meeting, a representative of the Korean People's Democratic Republic (DPRK) denied the statements of South Korea and Ukraine that Pyongyang allegedly plans to send his troops to participate in the war on the side of the Russian Federation. The North Korean delegation called these statements "unfounded rumors" aimed at discrediting the country. About it reports the South Korean Agency Yonhap (Renhap).
"As for the so -called military cooperation with Russia, my delegation does not sees the need to comment on such unreasonable stereotypical rumors aimed at blaming the image of the DPRK and undermining the legitimate, friendly and partnerships between two sovereign states," - said the Comity of North Korea.
This is the first public comment on the North Korean official on this topic.
Recall that the Kremlin has previously called these rumors "contradictory information". The US has not yet confirmed the departure.
