Jordan Abdall II King against Trump's idea to evict Palestinians from Gaza

The King of Jordan Abdall II showed a categorical position against the plans of US President Donald Trump on the eviction of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. During a meeting with Trump in Washington on February 11, 2025, Abdall II stated that Jordan retains a "solid course" on this issue, emphasizing the need to resolve the humanitarian crisis without forced resettlement.

Trump at a joint press conference confirmed the intention to control gas and organize the eviction of Palestinians. However, although the King of Jordan did not reject the ideas of the US President, he called for caution, did not rush to the conclusions and stated that alternative proposals for this situation would be processed. According to Abdalli, the main priority should be the restoration of the gases without evicting its inhabitants, as well as resolving the humanitarian situation in the region.

The King of Jordan also made an important statement on social networks, emphasizing that there is a "single Arab position" about the inadmissibility of moving Palestinians. He noted that the restoration of the gas situation and improving the conditions for the locals should be the key tasks of the international community.

These statements of Abdalli II are contrary to Trump's plan, according to which Jordan and Egypt had to accept millions of new Palestinian refugees. Both countries have already expressed their disagreement with such an initiative that it adds additional tension to the already difficult political situation in the Middle East.
