In an interview with The Daily Mail, the 60-year-old star confessed that her decision is largely due to the political situation in the United States and disagreement with Donald Trump's politics.

The singer has lived in London since 2019 and hopes to officially obtain British citizenship for half a year. Her moving to the UK is part of the general trend among celebrities that leave the United States after the return of Trump to power after the 2024 elections.
