Polish Vice-Minister Krzysztof Gavkovsky expressed a sharp criticism against President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, accusing him of trying to draw Warsaw in the war with Russia. Gavkovsky's statements appeared on the background of recent statements of Zelensky, which, according to the Polish politician, are "unworthy" and do not correspond to the friendly attitude of Poland to Ukraine.
Gavkovsky stressed that Poland, which became an important ally of Ukraine, provided considerable assistance, including military equipment and support for Ukrainian citizens, which forces him to ask: why the Ukrainian side does not gratitude. "It seemed to me that in such situations it was necessary to talk to someone 'thank you, not to hide," he said in response to the questions of journalists.
In addition, Viceremier noted that Zelensky, he said, is trying to shift responsibility to Poland, offering it to knock Russian missiles over Ukraine. "This means that he wants Poland to enter the war, that is, he wants Poland to fight with Russia," Gavkovsky added, expressing anxiety about the further development of events in the region.
