During the meeting with investors, KSCA Deputy Chairman Vladislav Andronov shared plans for the financial recovery of the company. Copitalization provides for the need to bring the company's internal documents in accordance with the current legislation and allow additional issue of shares. This will allow you to raise new funds to restore work at construction sites.
Andronov noted that during 2025 Kyiv plans to allocate funds for the capitalization of Kyivmiskbud. In addition, the company has already started to work actively on solving land use and laying of engineering networks for erected homes.
Last year, a special commission was working on the company's problems. According to the results of her work, two important decisions were made: on the capitalization of "Kyivmiskbud" and the appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers to prevent losses from objects transferred from "Ukrbud".
There is a significant problem with the lack of proper funding for construction work. As a result, the company was forced to suspend work on some facilities, including residential complexes. Construction restoration will depend on financing and strategic decisions that will be made in 2025.
One of the reasons for the current state of Kyivmiskbud was the unsuccessful management at high levels. For example, in the summer of 2023, Igor Kushnir, who has headed the company for more than 10 years, was removed from the performance of duties through financial audits. The media reported that Kushnir left Ukraine with a fake disability certificate, and later revealed his luxurious villa in France, which caused additional suspicion of transparency of management.
It is important for the residents of Kyiv who are waiting for the construction of their homes to complete that the restoration of Kyivmiskbud can be a long process. However, the city is already developing plans to prevent new delays and ensure the financial stability of the company.
