China has introduced new import duties on goods from the United States in response to similar actions of the Presidential Administration Donald Trump. This was reported by Reuters on February 4.
The Ministry of Finance of China has announced the introduction of 15% of duties on American coal and liquefied natural gas, as well as 10% for oil, agricultural machinery and certain types of cars. New tariffs will come into force on February 10, which will strengthen the trade confrontation between the two countries.
In addition to duties, China has introduced export control over a number of strategically important resources, including tungsten, tungsten, tungsten, ruthenium and molybdenum. This decision is argued with the need to protect national security.
Another blow to US business was the announcement of the beginning of the antitrust investigation into Google , which is suspected of violating China's law.
