China calls for a peace conference on Ukraine "with equal participation of all parties", including Russia. This was stated by China Ambassador to Zhang Hanhuy.
"China supports the timely convening of the International Peace Conference, which is approved by both the Russian and the Ukrainian sides, with equal participation of all parties and honest discussion of all variants of the peace plan," - said the messenger to the Russian Izvestia.
He added that there are differences in the positions of the parties, "but they all agree that peace will eventually be achieved through negotiations."
We will remind, Ukraine plans to gather the summit of leaders of countries in Switzerland, but without the participation of Russia. As we can see, China stands for a different format.
