Chinese authorities are investigating a fire that has taken 22 lives

In the Chinese city of Liaoyan, located in the northeastern province of Lyonin, there was a large-scale fire at the hotel, which resulted in at least 22 people killed, three more were injured. This was reported by China's central television CCTV on Tuesday, April 29.

According to preliminary data, the fire broke out about 12:25 in a restaurant located in the residential quarter of the city. The fire spread quickly, covering the hotel room, which caused significant human losses.

Fire departments, rescuers and volunteers arrived promptly at the scene. The Liaonin Province and the city authorities mobilized all the necessary forces to carry out search and rescue work and assist the victims.
