Florida leader Aaron Ecablad is disqualified because of doping

The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced the disqualification of Florida Panthers Star Defender Aaron Ekblet for 20 matches through a failed doping test. It was found that the athlete used the drug with a forbidden substance, trying to accelerate his recovery from the injury.

Ecublets acknowledged the fact of taking the drug, stating that his decision was dictated by the desire to return to the ice faster after damage. However, the NHL rules are strict about doping, regardless of the reasons for its use.

This disqualification is a serious blow to both the hockey player and the Florida Panthers team. Last season, Ekblelad, along with the team, won the Stanley Cup, becoming a key player on the way to the triumph.

In the current championship, he was leading the number of game minutes in the team and was the best scorer among 33 -points for 56 games.

Now Florida Panters is forced to continue fighting for a place in the playoffs without their leading defender. It is unknown how this disqualification will affect Aaron Ecablad's further career, but its absence on the ice will accurately affect the command results.
