87 illegal gas stations have been recorded in Lviv region - more than 20% of the total number in Ukraine. Such data is provided by the Oil and Gas Association in a fresh fuel market report.
The three leaders also included Odesa (47 objects) and Kiev with the region (44 objects). Further by the number of violations-Ivano-Frankivsk region (34) and Dnipropetrovsk (29). The report states that such gas stations often sell counterfeit fuel. They do not have appropriate licenses, do not pay taxes and do not comply with safety requirements. Such gas stations work in the shade, often pay salaries in cash, do not check and are not responsible for the quality of the fuel. With tax evasion, they can offer lower prices, which creates unfair competition and harms the economy.
Countal fuel not only harms cars, but also threatens road safety. In addition, illegal gas stations reduce tax revenues to the budget, undermine confidence in the licensed business and stimulate the spread of gray schemes in the fuel sector.
