On November 6, International Staff and Strong Will-2024 (Stipri Valia 2024), which will last until November 20, began in Lithuania. The training covers military and civilian areas near Kaunas and southeastern Lithuania, near the border with Belarus.
The purpose of the exercises organized by the Lithuanian Lithuanian Troops is to improve the preparation of units for planning and performing large -scale defense operations. Soldiers will train to interact with NATO allies, integrate combat units and coordinate joint actions. During the exercises, participants will use the military information system of combat management, through which the operations will remain invisible to the public.
More than 400 servicemen are included in the exercise. The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense warns of a possible intensive movement of military equipment in the southeast of the country in both light and dark times throughout the study period.
