IAEA confirmed the defeat of two nuclear objects in Tehran

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed the defeat of two objects in the Tehran suburbs that specialized in the production of centrifuges for uranium enrichment. This is stated in the official message of the agency published on Wednesday, June 18.

According to the information, the Tehran Research Center and TESA Plant in Karaj. The objects were made and tested by advanced rotors and other components of the centrifuges required for uranium enrichment. The lesion was completely destroyed by at least two buildings.

Both objects were previously under international monitoring and verification of the IAEA within the joint comprehensive action plan (SVPD), concluded in 2015 between Iran and six leading states in the world: the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, Russia, Germany, and the EU. SVPD is intended to limit the nuclear program of Iran in exchange for weakening sanctions.

At the time of publication, the sources of damage are not officially specified, but the situation is of serious concern in the international community.
