Macron is preparing important negotiations in Warsaw

French President Emmanuel Macron is preparing to make an official visit to Warsaw, which is scheduled for Thursday, December 12. According to the Polish media, the key topics of negotiations will be the results of a recent meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the US President Donald Trump, held in Paris last Saturday.

As part of the visit, Macron plans to meet with the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk and President Andrzej Duda. The conversation is expected to also affect bilateral cooperation between Poland and France, as well as pan -European security, given the growing challenges in the region.

Recall that Donald Tusk visited Paris earlier this year as the newly appointed Prime Minister. During a joint press conference with the Macron in the Elysee Palace, both leaders spoke about "the revival of Poland's relations with the most important European partners." Now this interaction will continue, and Macron's visit can be a key step in strengthening the cooperation between Warsaw and Paris.

Meetings in Warsaw are also regarded as an important element of preparation for future international decisions, in particular in the context of Ukraine support and global political challenges.
