This plan envisages a temporary cessation of hostilities in the air, on the seas and in the energy sphere.
What is included in the plan? The monthly ceasefire in the key spheres - air and sea space, energy infrastructure. Control over the front line to prevent further exacerbation. European troops will not yet unfold - they will be considered only after the peace agreement is signed. According to Macron, it is necessary to focus on the gradual completion of the war, not to expect a one -time cessation of hostilities. Macron emphasized that the main purpose is peace on fair conditions. It is also skeptical of possible negotiations between the United States and Russia, as Putin does not seek compromise, but the humiliation of Ukraine through its demilitarization. The French leader stressed that it is important to use the ceasefire time for negotiation and create conditions for peaceful settlement.
