The agreement between Telegram and XAI for $ 300 million has not yet been signed. This was stated by Ilon Musk and Pavel Durov, refuting the report on the final contract for the introduction of artificial intelligence in the messenger.
Musk wrote on the social network X that no agreement was signed. Pavel Durov confirmed this, noting that only a fundamental arrangement was reached between the parties, but formal legal procedures have not been completed.
Earlier, Durov reported that in the summer, Telegram users will be able to use the Grok chatbot developed by Mask. According to him, a partnership for a period of one year is envisaged, within which Telegram must receive $ 300 million in partial money, partly XAI shares, as well as half of income from the sale of subscriptions to the company's services sold through the messenger.
XAI was created by Ilon Musk in July 2023. According to the media, its value within the new round of investment can reach $ 120 billion.
