In the morning of November 28, 2024, Russia carried out another massive attack in Ukraine, launching rockets in several cities. The explosions were heard in Odessa, Pavlograd, Kharkiv and Kropyvnytskyi. It became part of a wider attack, which began last night, when the enemy launched UAV, and also raised strategic Tu-95MC bombers. Caliber missiles as well as ballistic missiles were released from the Black Sea.
Kharkiv became one of the most affected cities as a result of the attack. According to the mayor of Igor Terekhov, a series of explosions thickened in the morning, and it was previously confirmed that one of the blows was made by a rocket. The explosions were heard in one of the largest areas of the city, and the attack continues. Local authorities are working to eliminate the consequences.
In addition to Kharkiv, the explosions were recorded in Odessa, Pavlograd and Kropyvnytskyi, indicating a wide geography of attack. Ukrainian air defense continues to work to destroy hostile missiles, but the extent of the attack and its continuation indicate the seriousness of the threat.
This is another stage of escalation by Russia, which aims to destabilize the situation in Ukraine and increase pressure on the government and civilian population.
