Recently, a tragedy has occurred on the distant beach of Australia: mass release of marine mammals, including Kosat. Most of them were unable to survive this incident, and the residues of animals are in a critical condition. This has become the subject of attention of many experts, including the Air Force, who report the situation.
Experts who considered the situation have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to save the killer due to several factors. One of them is the inaccessibility of the terrain, which complicates rescue operations. Another factor was the strong tension and stress in animals, which further worsens their condition. Because of this, veterinary experts were forced to make a difficult decision - euthanasia. It was impossible to turn the spys in the sea. This region of Australia has become a place of mass emissions of marine mammals for several years, and most often the killer is thrown away. Animals that relate to group species with a developed social structure can be disoriented by persecution of prey or other navigation mistakes that often lead to such tragedies. But not only the distance and stress became a problem. The difficult weather conditions and the heavy relief of the coastline complicated rescue operations. The killer has repeatedly thrown back to the shore, despite trying to bring them to the ocean.
Currently, veterinarians believe that euthanasia is the only humane solution to preserve animals from further suffering. The question of the disposal of dead animals remains open as the region is cultural importance to the locals. Variants of natural schedule of mascara or other approaches are considered. For residents and tourists, the authorities ask to refrain from visiting this territory due to adverse weather conditions and restricted access to the event zone.
This case again raises the question of the causes of mass emissions of marine mammals and the possibility of preventing such tragedies in the future.
