In the temporarily occupied Kherson region, mass cases of desertion among the Russian military were recorded. In particular, in the 205th Separate Rifle Brigade, which is stationed in the Dnieper direction, soldiers leave their positions massively due to the cruelty of commanders, systematic beating, threats and non-payment of wages, the Atesh Partisan Movement reports.
According to Athesh, brigade servicemen suffer from numerous abuse: commanders regularly arrange group beatings, threaten to send soldiers for a task without a chance to return, and also force to carry continuous duty, depriving them of their normal rest. In addition, the army does not receive the promised payments for months, which significantly impairs their moral condition.
Without standing with this situation, many military leave their positions and try to seek help from human rights organizations. However, despite the appeal of relatives, the reaction remains minimal. These cases of desertion in the 205th brigade have become widespread, which indicates a serious crisis in the ranks of the invaders army.
Such incidents in the Russian army are not uncommon, but in this brigade they have become scale that indicate serious problems in the discipline and moral condition of the units.
