The medical crisis in Gaza has reached a critical point

Humanitarian organizations described the situation in the hospitals of the Gaza sector as "extremely critical", after which the outstanding medical team reported a number of problems. Among them are untreated open wounds, lack of food and basic medical materials such as surgical gauze and fracture fixing products.

The emergency medical care team, organized by humanitarian aid groups, provided medical care at a European Hospital near Han-Yunis for two weeks and emphasized the exacerbation of the situation. It was stated that medical professionals were forced to leave the hospital or were not able to get there.

The conflict between Israeli forces and Palestinian militants in the southern city has been going on since the beginning of the year. Now there are fierce fights. The horrific conditions in hospitals became known after Israel refused to cooperate with the UN Agency for Assistance (UNRWA) in the Gaza Sector.

David Menser, a representative of Israel, stated that they refuse to cooperate with Unrwa because of their role of conflict complication.

These restrictions, established by Israel, have led to a lack of basic medicines. Surgeons who came to the rescue reported a large number of infected open wounds and lack of food. They also reported that about 22,000 people who have been displaced from other parts of the Gaza are forced to be in the corridors and tents in the hospital.

We will remind that Hamas militants attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 from the territory of the Gaza Sector. This led to numerous victims among civilians and soldiers. After that, Israel launched a military operation against Hamas to fully destroy the group and release hostages.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the main purpose of the operation is to defeat Hamas, and the Israeli Defense Army is ready to expand hostilities. However, this led to the threat of suspension of a peace treaty with Israel by Egypt.

In addition, Hamas representatives confirmed the acceptance of the changed version of the US supply to cease fire in gas. They planned to negotiate in Cairo for final agreements and the implementation of the agreement. However, some sources reported that the agreement remains unattainable.

US President Joe Biden urged Israel to refrain from a land surgery in the city of Rafach in the south of the Gaza Sector, but Netanyahah announced the continuation of the military campaign. The tile also plans a land surgery in Rafah.

In addition, more than 1.1 million people are experiencing hunger -like conditions in the north. According to the UN, this development is inevitable and can begin by May and spread to the enclave by July.

By the way, the Minister of Defense of Israel Joava Galant in response to the approval by the UN Security Council of the resolution on ceasefire in Gaza stated that Israel would not stop the attack on Hamas.
