In the Zhytomyr military unit, blocks of boards with precious metals - gold and silver, which were not recorded. The cost of these blocks is UAH 65 million.
According to the Telegram Ministry of Defense, the chips with gold, silver and platinum were found in two garages of the military unit during a check conducted by the Department of Exclusion and Utilization of Excess Military Property and the Ministry of Defense Audit.
The found blocks had about 50 tons of unstressed boards containing precious metals, in particular:
- 28 kilograms of gold;
- 60 kilograms of silver;
- 590 grams of platinum group metals.
It is important to note that these fees have not been registered with the military unit. The question remains, as this precious property has been lost from accounting, and it will be the object of investigation. The found blocks were again added to accounting with estimated property of 65.66 million hryvnias.
