Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Markiyan Dmytrasevich, said that Ukraine is facing difficulties in supplying fuel due to the situation on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
Although the border situation is not critical for grain exports, it affects fuel supplies. Trucks sent across the Ukrainian-Polish border get stuck, restricting movement and reducing the level of food exports.
Dmytrasevich noted that Ukraine is trying to balance the situation, but recognizes problems with fuel supply as a serious concern. Noting that the country can now export food products via railways and Black Sea and Danube ports, he stressed the importance of considering the problem of fuel supply in the context of Ukraine's export efforts
