On April 24, the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Ruben Breccelmans arrives on a working visit. He reported his return to the Ukrainian capital on social networks, emphasizing Ukraine's adamant support in the fight against Russian aggression.
"If Russia wants peace, everything it needs to stop the attack on Ukraine. But Putin is doing everything the opposite. Tonight again in Kiev. Ukrainians pay the highest price," Breccelmans wrote.
The head of the Netherlands defense department stressed that the stop of the Russian aggressor in Europe needs further strengthening of Ukraine's support, in particular in the military sphere.
"The stop of this aggressor in Europe requires more support for Ukraine and military restraint," he said.
It is expected that during a visit, Ruben Breccelmans will meet with Ukrainian government officials and military, which will discuss safety, defense cooperation, and new steps to enhance Ukraine's defense capability.
The minister's visit is against the backdrop of active involvement of the West in the formation of long -term support of Ukraine in the war against Russia and ensuring regional security.
