The Ministry of Sports of Ukraine deprived the title of Tymoschuk, Karyakina and Kaladze

In Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports continues to deprive the sports ranks of those athletes that have betrayed the Ukrainian state or openly support pro -Russian positions. In 2022-2023, seven coaches and thirty-seven athletes lost a total of 54 sports titles. Among the most famous names are the exfutball player Anatoly Tymoshchuk, Dynamo Extensisher Kakh Kahala and Shahist Sergey Karyakin. Why are these solutions important and what do they mean for Ukrainian sports?

The Ministry of Youth and Sports officially deprived the title "Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine" and "Master of Sports of Ukraine" Anatoliy Tymoschuk and Sergey Karyakin. Kakha Kahaladze lost the title "Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class".

45-year-old Anatoliy Tymoschuk is a legend of Ukrainian football, a former captain of the national team and exgrade of Volyn, Shakhtar, German Bavaria and the Russian Zenita. He spent 144 matches for the national team of Ukraine. After his career, he remained in St. Petersburg, working as an assistant of Zenita head coach. After the start of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he not only did not condemn aggression, but also continued to work in Russia. In 2022, the Ukrainian Football Association has long deprived his coaching license and all titles.

Karyakin was born in Simferopol and spoke for the national team of Ukraine, becoming the youngest in the world at 12 years. However, after the annexation of Crimea, he went under the flag of Russia and openly supported the Kremlin aggression. In 2022 he became part of the Council of the Federation of the Russian Federation as a representative of the temporarily occupied Crimea. For his pro -Russian position, he received sanctions from the International Chess Federation and was removed from the competition.

Kakha Kaladze is a Georgian politician who is now headed by Tbilisi and is one of the leaders of the Georgian Dream Party known for his pro -Russian politics. In Ukraine, he was remembered by the speeches for Dynamo Kyiv in 1998-2001, and later moved to the Italian Milan. His deprivation of the title of "Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class" is part of Kyiv's policy on persons who are publicly supported by the Kremlin.
