The Ukrainian strategy of Ukraine seized 30,000 missing mines from the front, which did not meet critical requirements. 10% of ammunition were replaced, and production standards are significantly increased to avoid such problems in the future.
According to the representatives of the mineralist, the following disadvantages were found in the removed mines:
- Mismatch of ammunition diameter, which hindered the powder gases to effectively push a mine from the mortar.
- Departure of parts of the design of mines.
- The non -standard of gunpowder that did not provide the required explosion force.
In order to solve these problems, the Ministry of Strategger introduced the following measures:
- Strict inspections : now all Ming manufacturers check 100% of external geometric parameters to ensure accurate caliber.
- Sealed packaging:
- New powder packaging can withstand up to 10 hours in water.
- The 10-year shelf life of ammunition in warehouses and up to 12 hours is provided in the open air after opening.
- Additional charges have been introduced.
- Gunpowder processing : The removed powder will be dried and re -used for the manufacture of new ammunition.
- Modernization of the design : mines are now produced with a new suburban, revised basic charge and checking all parameters.
All defective mines are replaced by the manufacturer at its own expense. Currently, ammunition production is ongoing in regular mode, and more than 32,000 mines have already been delivered.
Such changes will ensure the efficiency of the Ukrainian army on the battlefield and increase the reliability of ammunition in the future.
