According to a recent survey conducted at the request of Shell's oil corporation, the most German youth between the ages of 12 and 25 are afraid that the war in Ukraine can spread to Europe. This indicates deep fears among the younger generation about security in the region.
Most of the respondents (81%) were placed in the first place.
In second place is the fear of poverty (67%).
The following are unemployment, employment problems, climate change (63%), environmental pollution, growing hostility between people (64%), xenophobic sentiment in society.
In general, the survey showed that German youth became much more interested in politics.
It should be noted that recently the ruling Social Democratic Party of Germany has become more common to speak for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine.
Also in Germany, according to the media, they refused to supply new heavy equipment to Ukraine.
