The Ministry of Health of Ukraine considers the mechanism of "removal" of medical workers for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This issue was discussed by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko, Deputy Minister of Defense Sergey Melnyk and Commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces Anatoliy Kazmirchuk.
Earlier, the government has decided on one hundred percent booking of state and communal medical physicians to provide uninterrupted medical care in war. At the same time, some doctors can mobilize for the needs of the Armed Forces by removing the booking.
According to Lyashko, more than 75% of wounded servicemen receive treatment in civilian medical institutions. Therefore, it is important that the process of mobilization of doctors does not violate the stability of the medical system.
The "removal" procedure will be carried out at the request of the Ministry of Defense and the command of the medical forces. Heads of medical institutions will apply through the action portal, and then make appropriate decisions.
Medical workers who will take place will be mobilized to the Armed Forces or other military formations for a term of up to one year with appointment to medical positions.
This decision has caused a discussion among the medical community, as there are concerns about a possible shortage of personnel in civilian hospitals. At the same time, the government assures that the process will be organized so as not to damage the health care of the population.
