The Ministry has provided exceptions for pharmacies that work in frontline areas or active hostilities, where there is no technical ability to write electronic recipes. In these regions, the drugs will continue to be released according to paper recipes until the end of martial law and three months after it. However, pharmacies are required to store these recipes for three years, which will allow you to monitor.
After the start of a full -scale war in Ukraine, the production and sale of Nalbuphin increased significantly. According to the State Service of Ukraine for Drugs and Drug Control, in 2024 the production of packaging increased by 43.4% compared to 2021, and sales volume by 37.1%.
This growth is associated with increased demand for potent painkillers due to difficult living conditions, military wounds and psychological stress.
Nalbuphin, like other opioid drugs, can cause long -term use of addiction and tolerance - the body gets used to the drug, and over time, a higher dose is required to achieve the effect. Opioid dependence is very complicated and requires long rehabilitation programs.
Doctors emphasize that uncontrolled use of Nalbuphin can cause serious harm to the health of patients, so strict control over the circulation of the drug is a necessary step.
At the beginning of 2025, on behalf of the Minister of Health, Viktor Lyashko, the State Service conducted a check of pharmacies on the circulation of Nalbuphin. It turned out that pharmacies could not provide paper recipes, which were released by the drug, which indicates a significant risk of over -the -counter sale.
The uncontrolled implementation of potent drugs is a violation of the legislation, and new rules are intended to ensure transparency, responsibility and safety.
