The creation of an "iron dome" over Europe is possible: which countries support this idea

The governments of Poland and Denmark have taken the initiative of the construction of the Iron Dome over Europe to protect cities from possible air attacks in the event of hostilities. This information is transmitted by the press service of the Office of Poland.

Discussing the difficult situation in Europe and the Middle East, the leaders of both countries agreed that it is time to rethink measures for effective protection of citizens. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk emphasized the need for joint action to ensure security in the region.

"The world situation needs our attention. We need to focus on practical steps to ensure the safety of our citizens. We have no place for political conversations anymore, we have to act," Tusk said.

One of the key topics of discussion between Poland and Denmark was the construction of an effective anti -missile and air defense system in Europe. Donald Tusk expressed a desire to participate in this project together with other European Union countries, emphasizing the importance of such measures in the context of the current geopolitical situation.

"Co -work on building a anti -missile and air defense in Europe is extremely important. The attack on Israel by Iran emphasized the relevance of such measures. We are pleased to see the positive reaction of our partner from Denmark to our initiative," he added.

Iron dome is part of the high -tech air defense system used by Israel. It is designed to protect the country from any air threats, including ballistic missiles, winged missiles and other aerozorosis.

The developer of this system is the private company Rafael Advanced Defense System Ltd, which has ties with the Armed Forces of Israel and specializes in the development of air, maritime and land defense systems. The financing of this project is also provided by the United States, which has allocated $ 200 million for that target.

The developers claim that the Iron Dome is 90%effective, making it one of the most productive anti -missile systems in the world.

The system consists of rockets, radars and control systems. Radar technology allows you to define potential goals and determine their destinations, and then choose which missiles you need to intercept. Turning missiles are launched from mobile or stationary starting installations and destroy the enemy shells before they achieve their goal.

The Air Force of Ukraine expressed the need for 25 Patriot systems for complete protection against possible air attacks. Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba reported that more than 100 Patriot systems have been identified, some of which are in neighboring countries and protecting important facilities such as ports or aerodromes.
