The Honorary Consulate of Romania opened in Kharkiv

Nicholas Udiansky was appointed Honorary Consul in Kharkiv.

On behalf of the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synigubov on the opening of the Romanian Honor in Kharkiv was greeted by Deputy Chief of Khov Yevgeny Ivanov. The event was also attended by Romania Ambassador to Ukraine Alexander Victor Mikula, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov and diplomats. This is the 19th Honorary Consulate in Kharkiv.

“By the beginning of February, Kharkiv region had productive trade and economic relations with Romania. Unfortunately, the war made its adjustments. But the opening of the honorary consulate is an important event for the city and the region. Fruiting cooperation will allow to develop Kharkiv region and bring our victory over the invaders, ”Yevgeny Ivanov said.

During his speech, the Honorary Consul Mykola Podiansky announced the transfer to the needs of Kharkiv region of emergency care cars and generators.

“I am proud to occupy this position. Our goal is not only to perform job responsibilities, but also to help Kharkiv comprehensively. The region will soon receive about 100 generators and 20 ambulances, ”Mykola Udiansky said.

Reference. Prior to the commencement of a full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, in 2021, Kharkiv entrepreneurs were exported to Romania by almost $ 35.5 million. And import deliveries of the same year amounted to $ 14.5 million.
