Ukraine plans to end the war in 2025 and will not interfere with this process. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga stated this in an interview with the Japanese TV channel NHK. According to him, official Kiev is already beginning the development of a road map, which will determine the mechanisms of control over a long front line, which extends over 1300 kilometers.
Sibiga also noted that an international peacekeeping contingent may be required to effectively monitor the ceasefire regime. On this issue, Ukraine will consult with the United States and other countries. At the same time, the minister stressed that the war continues not because of Ukraine's reluctance to reach peace, but because of the Kremlin's actions. According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin seeks to continue the war, and the world awaits his answers to peaceful initiatives.
Sibiga also stressed that US Presidential Administration Donald Trump should put pressure on Russia in the event of Moscow's refusal of the ceasefire offered by Washington.
