A special representative of US President Donald Trump Kit Kellogg will come to Ukraine with a visit. This was reported by a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Georgy Tykhy.
“We are actively involved in the preparation of the visit of the Special Representative Kellog to Ukraine. The date of this visit has been pre -determined, but for security reasons we do not disclose it. Ukraine is looking forward to General Kellog, ”the quiet said.
The special representative's visit is part of the Trump administration's efforts to develop a conflict resolution strategy between Ukraine and Russia. In Kiev, it is expected that during meetings with Ukrainian diplomats Kellogg will receive detailed information about the position of Ukraine and its vision of ways to achieve a just peace.
George Tyvyy stressed that Ukraine is open to constructive dialogue with the new American administration and is counting on its support in the context of a continuing war with Russia.
Kellog's Kellog's visit will be made against a change in US foreign policy that can affect further diplomatic relations with Ukraine and its security interests.
