The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic awarded Valery Zaluzhny with a medal for diplomatic merits

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky presented Ukraine's Ambassador in the United Kingdom, former Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny, a medal “For Merit in Diplomacy”. This award is a recognition of its significant contribution to the opposition of Russian aggression and strengthening relations between Ukraine and the democratic world.

The Medal for Merit in Diplomacy is awarded by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a significant contribution to the development of Czech diplomacy, foreign policy or bilateral relations.

Zaluzhny, who since July 2023 has held the position of Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, continues to defend Ukraine's interests in the international arena. His previous experience as the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a large -scale invasion of Russia remains a significant argument in strengthening Ukraine's international support.

The award was held during Lipavsky's visit to London, where he met with Zaluzhny to discuss further cooperation between the Czech Republic, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
