The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China stated that they do not have any information about the transfer of North Korean servicemen to the territory of the Russian Federation. During the press conference, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lin Jian, answered the questions of journalists regarding the possible dispatch of the North Korean military to Russia.
When asked whether Beijing could confirm this information, Lin Jian said that China was not aware of the situation. The journalists also asked about China's position regarding the fact that Pyongyang's actions could lead to a new stage of the conflict, which is "already long". In response, the press secretary emphasized that China's position on the Ukrainian crisis remains consistent and clear, with an emphasis on the need to de-escalate the situation and the parties' commitment to a political settlement.
We will remind that earlier the Ukrainian side claimed that North Korean army officers are already conducting training for Russian invaders in the occupied territories of Ukraine. In intelligence, it was noted that the first North Korean soldiers may appear in the Kursk region.
This information about the transfer of North Korean forces to Russia was confirmed in South Korea, the United States of America and the North Atlantic Alliance. The mass media also report that Seoul is considering the possibility of sending its weapons to Ukraine in the context of new challenges related to North Korea's military activity.
