Actor of the Dnieper Theater Maxim Kovtun was killed at the front

Maxim Kovtun, actor of the Dniprovsky Ukrainian Youth Theater, died at the front, defending Ukraine. With the onset of a full -scale invasion of Russia, he voluntarily left the stage and went to war without hesitation.

The actor's death was reported on May 2 on the theater page on Facebook. The post noted that Maxim was a talented and sincere actor who played equally touchingly in both adults and children's performances. His participation in the performances left warm memories and real emotions in the audience.

The main director of the theater Natalia Kotsar shared personal memories of the actor. She said that after Maxim went to the war, she followed his pages on social networks, afraid to see the tragic news. She stressed that Maxim was not only a talented artist, but also a good friend, a loving husband and a caring father.

Maxim Kovtun played in a number of performances, including "players" by Mykola Gogol and Aesop, where he played the main role. He also actively participated in children's puppet productions, working on dozens of performances that inspired the younger spectators.

He has a wife and a little daughter.
