In the Izmail district, a serious threat to national security was identified. The local resident, which was a traitor, gathered information about strategically important objects and transferred it to the Russian special services.
The attacker bypassed the territory, carefully documenting the location of the military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, buildings of territorial centers of acquisition and objects of energy and port infrastructure. His task was to gather maximum information about these objects, which could threaten the safety of the area.
In addition, the saboteur actively discussed with Russian agents the possibility of arson of military cars, relay cabinets of railways and buildings of territorial centers of acquisition. These discussions were part of a plan for destabilizing the situation in the region, which could have had serious consequences for Ukraine's infrastructure and defense capability.
As a result of the traitor's operational measures, it was detained. Investigative actions are currently underway to establish all the circumstances of its activities and to identify possible accomplices.
