In the Transcarpathian region, border guards have found a human body in the Tisza River-this is the 46th recorded case of death in water in this area. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine on May 1.
During the patrolling of the river shade of the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, the border outfit of the Bodalovo branch of the Mukachevo Border Detachment noticed in the water the body of the unknown. The drainage was found near the Ukrainian Bank of the Tisza River.
The staff of the State Emergency Service and the National Police were immediately summoned to the scene. Investigative actions are currently underway. Law enforcement officers establish the identity of the deceased and find out the circumstances of the tragedy.
The SSSU emphasizes that the number of bodies found in border waters continues to grow, probably due to illegal attempts by crossing the border by the citizens who avoid mobilization. Such cases often end tragically because of the river flow and underestimation of risks.
