A unique archaeological find was found in Italy

In the small town of Aeste in the north of Italy, an ancient wooden yoke, dating from the late bronze era, was discovered, about 14-13 centuries BC. This amazing archeological find sheds light on the history and life of ancient civilizations, giving a unique view of the long -time.

This wooden yoke was intended for attachment on the neck of the traction animals, most likely to oxen, using leather straps or ropes. It has special curved cutouts designed to tight the horns of animals.

What makes this find is particularly important is that it allows you to shed light on the lives and customs of ancient people in northern Italy during the Bronze Age. It also points out that the domesticated bulls in that region were much smaller than their modern counterparts.

An extremely interesting aspect of the yoke is its long -standing repair, which indicates that someone in the past has taken care of repair after damage. This emphasizes the importance and value of this item for ancient communities.

It is very important to note that the yoke is preserved due to the features of the environment in which it was located. The soil blocks containing this artifact were transported to the Central Restoration Institute in Rome, where experts have started working on stabilization of ancient wood.

Despite the fact that the discovery of this wooden yoke is in itself a significant achievement, work in the field of archeology is far from completion. In the soil blocks, other ancient wooden artifacts may be found, which would expand our understanding of the past. Further analysis of stabilized objects will also help to solve the mysteries of the time of the bronze era.
