On the night of June 7, Kharkiv suffered one of the most massive attacks during the full -scale invasion of Russia. Mayor Igor Terekhov reported this, emphasizing that Russian troops were simultaneously used by Shahaned drones, managed aviation bombs (cabozes) and rocket weapons.
The attack began at about three o'clock in the morning, when powerful explosions occurred in the Kyiv and founding districts of the city. According to preliminary information, at least six shock UAVs hit the territory of a civilian enterprise in the Kyiv district, which caused a large -scale fire.
"There was a powerful fire as a result of the attack. There are victims. The situation is difficult, the city under combined shelling," Terekhov wrote on Telegram.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synigubov, confirmed the strikes, adding that the whole city was attacked by more than ten "Shahaneda", and also recorded "arrivals" of rockets and cabin. According to him, the blows were in civilian sites, including residential buildings.
The most resonant hit occurred in the Oszhiansky District, where a drone or aircraft hit a multi -storey residential building in the city center. The apartments on the upper floors were engaged-from the 6th to 9th.
"There is preliminary information that people are under the rubble. Rescuers work. A strike in the center is a crime against civilians," the mayor said.
